Frank P. Bell, 94, of Poplar Springs Road, died Sunday morning at Shannondale Health Center in Knoxville.
Mr. Bell was a lifelong resident and farmer of Greene County. As a young man, he taught at St. James School and later taught agriculture to veterans under the GI Bill.
Mr. Bell was an active, lifetime member of Whittenburg United Methodist Church. He served as president of Greene County Farm Bureau for 15 years and formerly served on the Greene County Court.
Those close to Mr. Bell knew him to be one of the most respected and loved men in the community.
Survivors include his wife: Lois Shields Bell; a son and daughter-in-law: Dwane and Moonyean Bell of Louisville; a daughter and son-in-law: Brenda and Doyle Oran of Atlanta, Ga.; seven grandchildren: Byron Hensley of Greeneville, Mike Bell of Washington, D.C., Ann Hudgins of Kanehoe, Hawaii, Laura Howell of Hoover, Ala., Jim Bell of Louisville, Linda Portwood of Tampa, Fla., and Carol Oran of Atlanta; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the last surviving child of the late Dr. and Mrs. James B. Bell. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Hensley Maupin.
The family will receive friends.

Herbert Emory Bell, 79, of Route 1, Greeneville, died Sunday at 3 a.m. at his home.
He had served with the U.S. Navy for 20 years, and was a retired farmer. A member of the Whittenburg United Methodist Church, he was a veteran of World War II, a member of VFW Post 1990, a member of the Orebank Ruritan Club.
Survivors include his wife: Arlene Bell; one son: Carl Bell of Greene County; one daughter: Mrs. Dean (Ruth) Heaton of Bristol, VA; two grandchildren: Donald Bell and Janey Rohr; three stepgrandchildren: Leland Austin, Chris Heaton and Carla Heaton; one great-grandchild: Sabrina Rohr; two brothers: Frank and Robert Bell of Greene County; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one son, Fred Bell; three sisters, Virginia, Louise and Nell; and one brother, Henry Bell.
The funeral will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Whittenburg United Methodist Church, with interment in the church cemetery. The Rev. T. U. Brantley will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Harley Mooneyhan, John Vest, Bobby Bell, Dwayne Bell, Harold Foshie and Johnny Vest.
Honorary pallbearers will be men of Whittenburg United Methodist Church.
The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes before the service to lie in state.
Memorials may be made to Whittenburg United Methodist Church.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 this evening at Kiser Funeral Home.

Robert Edward Bell, 77, of Route 1, died Tuesday evening.
He was a retired school teacher and farmer, and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Orebank Ruritan Club and the Retired Teachers Association.
Mr. Bell was preceded in death by his wife, Genevieve Hull Bell; two sons, Edward and an infant son; two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are a daughter: Evelyn Bell of the home; a son: Herbert B. Bell of Sulphur, La.; a daughter-in-law: Carolyn Bell; two grandchildren: Tim and Nerissa Bell; and a brother: Frank Bell of Greene County; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at Kiser Funeral Chapel with interment in Whittenburg Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Lynch and the Rev. T. U. Brantley will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be Paul Lee, Alex Lauderdale, Carl Belcher, Carl, Bobby, James and Dwane Bell, Byron Hensley and Doyle Oran.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nell B. Ross, who died at 2:50 a.m. Friday in Blount Memorial Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Smith Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends at the mortuary chapel from 7-9 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. James Blizzard will officiate. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Memorial gifts may be made to the organ fund of the Bible Presbyterian Church, Maryville. Smith Mortuary, Maryville, is in charge of the arrangements.
