Randall Mark Cooley, 62, Palmyra, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, June 8, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of New Albany, born July 22, 1938, he was the son of the late Marion Leroy and Sarah Catherine McHone Cooley.
He was a former truck driver for Hoosier Lime & Stone and a member of Palmyra Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Survivors include his wife, the former Darlene McCutcheon; a son, Michael Cooley of Salem; two daughters, Karla Barron of Pekin and Karen Raisor of Corydon; a sister, Betty Schmidt of Scranton, Pa.; seven grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
A graveside service was Tuesday, June 12, at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Brother Rick Jones officiated. Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem handled the arrangements.

She was a native of Borden, a retired cook from Clark Memorial Hospital, and she worked as a cook with the Greater Clark County School System. She was a member of First Christian Church in Jeffersonville where she was part of the Christian Women’s Fellowship.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Skaggs, Jeffersonville; four granddaughters, Vickie Castile, Jeffersonville, Theresa Mathews and her husband, Tim, Depauw, Jennifer Lee and her husband, James, Jeffersonville and Beverly Williams and her husband, Joe, Jeffersonville; two grandsons, Bob Skaggs and his wife, Bobbie, Jeffersonville, and Gene Skaggs and his wife, Kathy, Jeffersonville; 17 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Babe" Ruth; and her daughter, Thelma Ruth Soper.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 20.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
