CBRISTOL - Colena P. Roberts Hudson Long, 82, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of 7th Street, Bristol, died Wednesday.
Mrs. Long was a native of Greeneville, a daughter of the late Winston and Margaret Swanger Roberts. She moved to Bristol in 1949.
She was a retired employee of Parks-Belk Beauty Salon and H.P. King Wig Department, both in Bristol.
Mrs. Long was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her first husband: Robert E. Hudson; two sisters: Eudema Bitner and Susie King; and three brothers: James Roberts, Frank Roberts, and John Henry Roberts.
Survivors include her husband: Leonard Long; a daughter: Sarah Lee Jessee of Fort Worth; two grandsons: Christopher Todd Jessee and Craig Allen Jessee; a great-granddaughter: Jordan Nicole Jessee; two sisters-in-law: Esther King Roberts and Wanda Miller Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service was held Sunday evening at Weaver Funeral Chapel in Bristol.
A graveside service was held Monday morning in Glenwood Cemetery in Bristol.

GRAY - Christy Thomas ?CT? Slagle, 87, formerly of 5315 Kingsport Hwy., Gray, passed away Wednesday (April 22, 2009) at Four Oaks Health Care Center in Jonesborough.
Mr. Slagle was born in Carter County but lived most of his life in Washington County in the Sulphur Springs/Gray area. He was a son of the late E. Claude and Della Lyons Slagle. In addition to his parents, Mr. Slagle was also preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Slagle and second wife, Margie C. Slagle; two brothers, Clayton Slagle and Kyle Slagle; and one granddaughter, Tonya Slagle.
He owned and operated Slagle's Store and Restaurant for many years. He loved music. He sang and played with several groups including the ETSU Dixie Group, Mountain Folks and The Clear Springs Quartet.
He was a member of Sulphur Springs United Methodist Church. Mr. Slagle was a Mason and a member of Arcana Lodge #489 F&AM in Limestone.
Survivors include three sons, Darrell Slagle, Limestone, Terry Slagle and wife, Ann, Kingsport and Ronnie Slagle, Jonesborough; daughter and son-in-law, Lynda and David Keplinger, Jonesborough; 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Wilma Brown and Betty and Lamar Harris, all of Panama City, Fla. and Theola and Otis Merritt, Alabama; and several nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:45 p.m. Friday prior to the service at Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Darrell Slagle, Jr., Darrell Slagle, Sr., Terry Slagle and Ronnie Slagle officiating. Masonic rites will be conducted at 7:45 p.m.
Music will be provided by the Slagle Family.
Interment services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Eastern Star Freewill Baptist Cemetery (I-26, Eastern Star Road Exit). Friends and family are requested to meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Jonesborough is in charge of arrangements, 753-3821.
