AUG. 21, 1919. Karen Senft says Samuel's children were born to his second wife, Nora E. Kohler, but the birth date for Samuel Jr., is before the marriage date of Samuel and his first wife. There probably was an alliance with someone prior to Hannah & Nora resulting in the birth of Samuel Jr.
Nora was divorced with a daughter, Emma D. before she married Samuel (see 1910 census). I have nothing to suggest that it is true, however, it could be possible that the two children shown with Samuel & Nora in Karen Senft's genealogy are Samuel's son, Samuel, Jr., & Nora's daughter, Emma D.
