We are all having a time with the grip cough some thing terrible having lots of snow and cold weather we sure need the moisture Don't hear from Adams hardly ever but guess they are all alive see in the paper where they we were gravling the streets of Adams so guess the burg is prospering. how is Annie and Burt haven't heard from them for a long time. Mr Porter was here last night said Aunt Emily was at Kerney with Stella. Fronie went to Rochester and was operated on for her gorter but is very poorly. Julia seems to be getting along real well. Well how did Santaclause treat you we got some presents from the folks will send you some of the pictures taken when you was here. will close wishing you a happy New Year.*

* Sarah mentions a lot of relatives in this short letter. When she says she hasn't heard from Adams, she is referring to Harry and Cora (Atkins) Hillman who were living in Adams, Nebraska. Annie and Burt are Clarence's son Berdette and wife Anna (Moxter) Hillman. Clarence was probably living with Berdette and Anna at the time. Aunt Emily is Emily Cordelia (Rogers) Hillman, widow of Edwin Rathburn Hillman. Edwin had died two years before. Emily was spending time with each of her children. Stella is Emily's daughter Stella (Hillman) Grubb. This agrees with Nellie (Grubb) Artman's story that Willie and Stella (Hillman) Grubb and family were living in Kearny, Nebraska about 1924. Fronie is Sarah's sister Fronie (Zuver) Dye. Julia is Sarah's sister Julia (Zuver) Bryson.
