Clyta Mae Dunbar Fellers, 79, of Big Pine Key, died Saturday evening at Key West Convalescent Home. She moved to the Keys from Hollywood, where she had lived nearly 60 years. Mrs. Fellers was born Sept. 20, 1927, in the Philadelphia Community of Washington County, Tenn., and was a daughter of the late Lillian Jane (Copp) and James Frank Dunbar. On Dec. 22, 1946, she married Eual F. Fellers, who was also of Washington County. Mr. Fellers died Oct. 31, 2006. She and her husband were the owners/operators of Fellers Gulf Service Station in Hollywood for more than 40 years, retiring in 1991. "She was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends," her family noted. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: James F. and Susan Fellers of Big Pine Key; a grandson and his wife: Paul and Tina Fellers of London, England; a granddaughter and her husband: Jamie (Fellers) and Rick Clarke of Big Pine Key; a step-granddaughter and her husband: Michele and Dan Bertsch of Mint Hill, N.C.; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters and their husbands: Margaret (Dunbar) and Billy Greenway of Chuckey, Tenn., Linda (Dunbar) and Bill Fox of Stuart , Fla., and Connie (Dunbar) and Charlie Cobble of Greeneville, Tenn.; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and a number of special friends. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Dunbar. The funeral service will be held Saturday at Fred Hunter Funeral Home in Hollywood. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Gardens.

The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Doughty-Stevens Chapel, with the Rev. Homer Ray Smith and Ross Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

J. F. Copp Sr., Prominent city teacher succumbs
J. F. Copp Sr., Rt. 3, died unexpectedly at Memorial Hospital early yesterday afternoon. He was a lifelong resident of Washington County and was the son of the late William Mack Copp and Vertie Copp, who survive.
Mr. Copp was graduated from the University of Tennessee in the class of 1920 and has been a member of the Johnson City School system for 38 years.
He taught in the math department.
He had been in the teaching profession for 45 years.
Mr. Copp retired from the city school system in 1966.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a veteran of World War I, and a former member of the Masonic order of the Limestone Chapter.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Geraldine Copp; two sons, J. F. Copp Jr., Johnson City of Hamilton National Bank, and Bill Copp, Rt. 4, Jonesboro; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Knox, Johnson City; his mother; and two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Graybeal and Mrs. A. K. Broyles, Johnson City; and four grandchildren.
Morris-Baker Funeral Home is in charge.

FUNERAL NOTICE

COPP, J. F. SR. - Funeral services for J. F. Copp Sr., 67, Rt. 3, who died Saturday afternoon will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday from the Morris-Baker Chapel. Dr. Ferguson Wood will officiate. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Cemetery, near the South Central Community. Pallbearers who are requested to assemble in the chapel at 2:15 p.m., will be Elvin Little, Howard Dyer, Cot Presnell, Zeb Presnell, George Biddle, Paul Slonaker, Bennie Posey, Raymond Miller, Kermit Tipton and John Broyles. The body will remain in the chapel where the family will receive friend from 7 until 9 p.m. Sunday. Morris-Baker Funeral Home is in charge.
He was baptized on 12 October 1900 in Philadelphia Cumberland Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, Washington Co., Tennessee.13

Mrs. Geraldine Clowser Copp, 96, 4018 Kingsport Highway, died Friday, April 2, 1999, at Lakeridge Health Care Center after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Copp was a Cedarville, W.Va., native. She had lived in the Washington College community for several years and in Johnson City for 52 years. Mrs. Copp was a daughter of the late David and Cora Belle Stout Clowser.
She retired in 1985 from Parks-Belk, having worked as a saleslady for more than 43 years.
Mrs. Copp was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Women's Bible Class.
She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star No. 262, Limestone. Mrs. Copp was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 2108 Ladies Auxiliary,
She was preceded in death by her husband, Justin F. Copp, in 1966, one daughter, one sister and three brothers.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Copp, Johnson City, and Bill Copp, Telford; one sister, Mrs. Gwendoline Toothman, Lewisburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
