BASIC FACTS

Jimmie Don Blevins was born on 29 August 1935 in Great Bend, Barton Co., Kansas.1 He and Stella Arlene Marker were married on 22 December 1957 in Lyons, Rice Co., Kansas. He died on 9 January 2004, at age 68.2
Jimmie Don Blevins was also known as Jimmy Don Blevins.3 He had reference number 21162. He was educated High school graduate.1 Korean War, U.S. Army, decorated.1 He was an Employed by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department where he was a heating and refrigeration technician.1 He resided in Chase, Rice Co., Kansas; California, Kingman, Mohave Co., Arizona.1 The identification of Jimmie's parents has been a challange and may not be correct. Here is my thinking. First, there is a tree on Ancestry.com that says Jimmie's mother was Mary Magdalene (Sinnott) Blevins (born 1910 and died 1960 in Great Bend, Barton County, Kansas). Internment.net confirms these dates and says she is buried in Saint Mary Cemetery in Chase, Rice County, Kansas. It appears that she went by Magdalene. Now, there is a 1940 Census for Logan County, Arkansas. It is hard to read. Here is my interpretation of the record:

1940 Census, Arkansas, Logan County, Boone, sheet 3A, 11 April 1940, family 47, lines 1-5
Blevins, Kenneth V., head, male, white, age 30, married, born Missouri, rural - Rice Co., Kansas, truck driver - oil field
-- Magdalene, wife, female, white, age 30, married, born Kansas, rural - Rice Co., Kansas
-- Charles, son, male, white, age 6, single, born Kansas, rural - Rice Co., Kansas
-- Jimmie, son, male, white, age 4, single, born Kansas, Great Bend, Barton Co., Kansas
-- Mary Ann, daughter, female, white, age 1, single, born Kansas, rural - Rice Co., Kansas

Everything seems to fit for Jimmie Don Blevins, born 29 August 1935 in Great Bend, Barton Co., Kansas, with a mother whose name is Magdalene and was born in 1910 and lived in Rice County, Kansas. The siblings do not appear in his obituary but they may have passed away and the siblings that are listed in the obituary may have been born later.
By the way, there is quite a bit of information on this Kenneth V. Blevins. He was born 9 Sep 1909 in Cainsville, Harrison County, Missouri to Charles Edward Blevins and Charlotte E. Allman. In 1942 he enlisted in the U.S. Army from Pueblo, Colorado. In the enlistment record he says he is from Logan County, Arkansas In 1956, Kenneth and Magdalene are listed in the city directory for Ellinwood, Barton County, Kansas. He died in July 1977 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., Oklahoma and is buried in Cauthron Memorial Gardens, Cauthron, Logan County, Arkansas.
