Timothy married Deborah Ann Johnson on 12 Aug 1978. Reafus and Ruth had a second son, Robert Michael Kelley, born 7 May 1963. Robert died a few minutes after birth due to multiple congenital anomalies.

KELLEY AND SCOTT TO BE WELCOMED HOME TONIGHT
Reafus Jack Kelley, just out of the navy, and William Scott, Jr., recently out of the marine corps, will be welcomed home at a party tonight at Burlington Mills Country club by Mr. Kelley's cousins, Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Myers and Charles P. Allred. About 25 have been asked for 8:30 o'clock.
Mr. Kelley, formerly of Chattanooga, Tenn., is living here after 31 months in the Pacific and European theaters. He was an electrician second class. Mr. Scott, a former corporal, served two years in the south pacific.
An oyster stew will accompany the usual recreation provided by the clubhouse. In the older group will be Mrs. P. D. Allred, mother of the hostess, and Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Kelley, parents of Mr. Kelley.

COLLINSVILLE, Va., Jan. 27. -- Mr. and Mrs. William W. Cook of Collinsville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Ruth Josephine, to Reafus Jack Kelley, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Kelley, of Arlington Heights, Ridgeway, and formerly of Greensboro, N.C. No date has been set for the wedding.

Reafus (Jack) Kelley, 90, of Stuart, Va., died on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County. He was born on June 21, 1926 to the late Martha Sue Robertson and Henry Reafus Kelley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Kelley.
He was a member of Patrick Springs Christian Church where he ministered until his retirement and remained and elder. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Ruth Kelley of the home; two sons, Tim Kelley of Pennington Gap, Va,, Terry Kelley of Panama City, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grand children.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Patrick Springs Christian Church in Patrick Springs, Va. with Minister Walter Thornton officiating.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from noon to 1 p.m. and other times at the home on Jeb Stuart Hwy, Stuart, Va.
