The action was brought to re cover the amount of an old bond for about $275 with interest, given 35 years or more ago. The bond was payable to Jacob Gobrecht, Trustee. When the case had advanced to a certain point Judge Stewart held that executors of Jacob Gobrecht, deceased, ought to have been made party plaintiffs. The plaintiffs named were those who would be eventually entitled to whatever was recovered. After this ruling the plaintiffs moved to amend their action by adding as party plaintiffs the names of the executors of Jacob Gobrecht. The amendment was allowed. The defendant at once plead surprise, that he was not prepared to makes defense against the new plaintiffs at this court and filed an affidavit, to that effect. Mrs. Michael J. Resh
Mrs. Louisa C. Resh, widow of Michael J. Resh, late of West Manheim township, York, died Saturday morning at 4:30 o'clock at her home in Hanover. Death was due to cancer of the liver after a three-years' illness. She was aged 73 years, 8 months and 10 days.
She is survived by one son, Emory G. Resh, at home, and one daughter, Mrs. Henry E. Eline, New Oxford. One sister, Mrs. George Kline, Hanover, and two brothers, Eli Gobrecht, near Bart's church, and Henry Gobrecht who resides in the West, also survive, together with three grandchildren.
Funeral services at the house Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. J. H. Hartman officiating, assisted by Rev. E. M. Sando. Interment made in the family burial plot in Mt. Olivet cemetery.

She is survived by a son, Emory Resh, at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Henry E. Eline, of Koller's mill; also by a sister, Mrs. George Cline of Hanover; and three brothers; Martin Gobrecht, Kansas City, Mo., Samuel, Lancaster, and Henry Gobrecht, of New Chester, Md [probably should be New Windsor, Carroll Co., Maryland]. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Hanover, on Monday.

M. L. Gobrecht, 73 years old, died yesterday about 2 o'clock at the family home, 637 Belmont street, following a stroke of paralysis. Mr. Gobrecht had been a contractor in this city for many years.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed, pending arrival of relatives. Interment will be held in Maple Park Cemetery under the direction of the Paxton Undertaking company.
Mr. Gobrecht is survived by a wife, three daughters and a son.
