JAMEY V. ISLEY
PINEY FLATS – Mrs. Jamey V. Isley, 77, Rt. 2, Piney Flats, died Sunday night at Johnson City Medical Center Hospital, after a lengthy illness.
She was a lifelong resident of the Pine Flats community and a daughter of the late David and Matilda Anderson Shipley.
Mrs. Isley was a member of New Bethel Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Logan Isley.
Survivors include three daughters, Charlotte Isley of the home, Mrs. Roberta Jeter and Mrs. Brenda Simpson, both of Piney Flats; two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Martin and Verna Shipley, both of Piney Flats; one brother, Herbert Shipley, Piney Flats; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Castle Funeral Home, Bluff City, is in charge.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jamey V. Isley, 77, Rt. 2, Piney Flats,, who died Sunday, will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Leonard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Simpson, Arnold and Jr. Shipley, Harley Bays, Jimmy Martin and Ralph Hicks. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Castle Funeral Home is in Charge of arrangements.
