Surviving are his widow, Edith Keefauver Keys; one son, Gene, Jonesboro; three brothers, Walter, Johnson City; Roy, Appomatox, Va.; and Robert, Kingsport; three sisters, Mrs. Vera Sifford, Jonesboro; Mrs. Mildred Brown, Johnson City; Mrs. Edith Wishon, Orlando, Fla.; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday from the Highland Christian Church with the Rev. Gene Lasley officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will remain at the Kiser-Woodall Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight and it will be taken to the church one hour before services.

Note: This is one of the largest and handsomest monuments in this cemetery. It is made of marble and white pressed brick. The foundation is of granite; on this base is built first a square of white pressed brick on which is another layer of marble, and so on; each section tapering until the top is about one-fourth the size of the base. Egg dart molding of different sized was used to cap each section. Panels in the brick sections were inserted as plated on which the names of the family were engraved. These too are bordered with egg dart mounding.

Note: This is one of the largest and handsomest monuments in this cemetery. It is made of marble and white pressed brick. The foundation is of granite; on this base is built first a square of white pressed brick on which is another layer of marble, and so on; each section tapering until the top is about one-fourth the size of the base. Egg dart molding of different sized was used to cap each section. Panels in the brick sections were inserted as plated on which the names of the family were engraved. These too are bordered with egg dart mounding.
